Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA)-12 lessons with Dr Lam - recommended by CDC (Scroll down to see the free first lesson)

In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) recommends it for fall prevention.

What is special about this DVD is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views. The unique music was composed with the rhythm and energy especially for this program!

It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format. Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

Congratulations Dr Lam on your presentation of Tai Chi for Arthritis. Your slow, clear explanation of Tai Chi movements makes it easily understood by us beginners. A most valuable product. Thank you.

    Tai Chi for Arthritis dvd

Posted by Nancy Seddon on 12th Nov 2019

I bought this DVD for one of my students in my beginners' class. She loves coming to Tai Chi and wanted to be able to practise at home with the DVD as well. She has found it easy to follow, with clear instructions and appreciates Paul's gentle approach to learning. It is enriching her total Tai Chi experience so far and there is certainly an improvement in her movement at class each week.

Just like a private lesson for beginners to use everyday.

We highly recommend Dr Paul Lams DVD for everyday use. After some weeks with our beginner group we found a vast improvement week to week after the class used the DVD to follow and practice at home.

    CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS

Posted by Ted on 27th Jun 2019

Even if you are not all that quick at picking things up you will be able to follow these instructions. Dr Lam has a certain soothing manner that seems to take all the stress out of learning something. It certainly works for me, and where I was having trouble learning at the Tai Chi class I can now pick up what I missed at the class. The video is worth every cent!

    Tai Chi for Arthritis dvds

Posted by Regards Judi Peters on 24th Jun 2019

Congratulations on a fantastic educational dvd set, Dr Paul Lam. I am 71 years young and have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Due to my hypermobility, I had developed problems with my balance. I consulted my Physio, who suggested that I try " Tai Chi for Arthritis" to see if it would help with this problem. After following Dr Lam's well explained and demonstrated dvd lessons, I soon started to notice an improvement, my Physio also commented on the improvement in my balance. I didn't realise how balance affects our quality of life until I devloped this instability. Thank You Dr Lam, I now enjoy getting out and about once again!

As a beginner at Tai Chi, this program not only supplements my regular class it expands my understanding. It is well presented and moves at a pace which allows solid comprehension. Of course, the ability to replay lessons facilitates practise till "perfect".

    Better than I expected

Hi Very easy to use and well organised. As somebody that has not done Tai Chi before I was hoping for an easy to use and organised instruction and progression. It is well put together and I feel like I am learning, improving and feeling better. Thanks
