Dr Lam has a deep fascination for the Chen style and has learned this set directly from its creator, Professor Kan. He has translated her book Chen Style 36 Forms Taijiquan to English and has practised the set for over forty years.
 
The 36 Forms is the world's most popular Chen Style set. It is a condensed version of the original 83 Forms being taught in the early part of this century by the great Chen Fake. The set is well-balanced, containing all the essential characteristics and principles of the original Forms.
