Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA)-12 lessons with Dr Lam - recommended by CDC (Scroll down to see the free first lesson)
In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) recommends it for fall prevention.
What is special about this DVD is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views. The unique music was composed with the rhythm and energy especially for this program!
It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format. Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

Valuable to reinforce lessons in class
Due to illness I missed several lessons and so fell behind. I have osteo arthritis and have found Tai Chi to be an important way of easing pain and strengthening my muscles. The DVD has enabled me to continue at home when I am unable to attend class. The instructions and demonstrations are concise and clear and particularly helpful to check correct position of each move. I will be recommending this to my friends

Teaching at Dunn Rock. W.A.
While my husband was working at Ravensthorpe W.A. I was given the opportunity to teach Tai Chi nearby at Dunn Rock Community Centre to a small group of ladies who meet every Monday for some exercise. Mostly they do Zumba to a DVD but were very keen to learn Tai Chi. We spent 6 weeks learning the Tai Chi for Arthritis 12 lessons and on my leaving the area I purchased the DVD and presented it to them so they could continue their Tai Chi.

Tai Chi for Arthritis.
Thanks very much to Dr. Paul Lam for making this video available. I have found that having the comfort of lessons in my own home is extremely valuable. I was diagnosed with Tennis Elbow and also small spurs in the same area. These exercises are extremely beneficial and I have found that after 4 weeks practice the pain I was experiencing has decreased to almost non existent. As I am only up to lesson 3 I am sure there will be further improvements as I follow this gentle path to healing.

Tai Chi for Arthritis
I am very pleased with the Tai Chi for Arthritis DVD. It is very easy to follow as Dr Lam gives clear instructions and demonstrates the moves at a nice gentle pace which is easy to follow. I enjoy being able to do the exercises at home in my own time.

Tai Chi for Arthritis dvd helps MS sufferrers too!
I have MS and I must say the lessons and advise is fabulous for me and my disability. I just did what was advised and started doing the lessons sitting down and after wspending a week on each one, I can now stand for them and do them all (albeit not prefectly) but standing and less rushed all the same. I must tell the MS Society in the UK about this dvd. :o)

I Can Feel It Doing Me Good!
I am only up to Lesson Two of Dr Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis but I can already feel that I will benefit greatly from this product. I like the way each lesson is divided into easily found sections for practice sessions, and I particularly enjoy Dr Lam's gentle approach to teaching. I was in exercise classes for the elderly but felt that they were too forceful for my fibromyalgia and arthritis. Tai Chi seems to be just right, with the warming up and cooling down exercises an excellent safety measure for students. Thank you Dr Lam!
