Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA)-12 lessons with Dr Lam - recommended by CDC (Scroll down to see the free first lesson)
In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) recommends it for fall prevention.
What is special about this DVD is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views. The unique music was composed with the rhythm and energy especially for this program!
It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format. Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

Inspiring!
I do attend Tai Chi classes once weekly and have recently completed the six forms of Sun Tai Chi. I have bought this DVD to make practise and review much simpler, and I feel I have a better chance to practise the form correctly and at a more relaxed pace while following Dr Paul Lam's instructions and following his example. I recommend it unreservedly.

I Would Not Be Without This DVD
Great - Easy to understand delivery of Tai Chi lessons. Dr Paul Lam guides the viewer through each step so gently and gracefully. I have gained a lot from this DVD set and will continue to do so. The words of wisdom and encouragement are a bonus! Highly Recommended

Hooray for these DVDs
I was advised by my GP to join a class for Tai Chi for Arthritis to help my arthritis and my balance. Being over eighty I was having difficulty remembering the moves in order to practice between classes. Now I am able to follow Dr Lam's excellent lessons at home and am more confident in class.

Movement without Medication
I am now on the dark side of 60. My body is presently reflecting the abuse that it has suffer in my many years as a Soldier and also whilst playing Rugby League. I see a Physio on a regular basis and she recommended that I try this program. My joint mobility has improved as has my balance. Where once I used regular medication to provide relief, now I no longer need it. I am a Reiki Master and find that Tai Chi is a wonderful source of vitality. I will continue to develop my skills and make it a part of my life program

Valuable to reinforce lessons in class
Due to illness I missed several lessons and so fell behind. I have osteo arthritis and have found Tai Chi to be an important way of easing pain and strengthening my muscles. The DVD has enabled me to continue at home when I am unable to attend class. The instructions and demonstrations are concise and clear and particularly helpful to check correct position of each move. I will be recommending this to my friends

Teaching at Dunn Rock. W.A.
While my husband was working at Ravensthorpe W.A. I was given the opportunity to teach Tai Chi nearby at Dunn Rock Community Centre to a small group of ladies who meet every Monday for some exercise. Mostly they do Zumba to a DVD but were very keen to learn Tai Chi. We spent 6 weeks learning the Tai Chi for Arthritis 12 lessons and on my leaving the area I purchased the DVD and presented it to them so they could continue their Tai Chi.
