Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA)-12 lessons with Dr Lam - recommended by CDC (Scroll down to see the free first lesson)

In 1996, Dr Lam with a team of medical and tai chi experts created this safe and easy to learn program. Medical studies confirm Tai Chi for Arthritis relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life, that is why the Arthritis organisations around the world advocate this program and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov) recommends it for fall prevention.

What is special about this DVD is that you will feel as though you are participating in Dr Lam’s class. After a brief introduction of what Tai Chi for Arthritis is and how this DVD can benefit you, Dr Lam will teach you with step-by-step instructions, lead you to practice and explain the reason behind every move. At the conclusion of the DVD Dr Lam will demonstrate the set from both front and back views. The unique music was composed with the rhythm and energy especially for this program!

It presents the entire program including warm up and cool down in a user friendly format. Dr Lam incorporates the tai chi principles to enhance your understanding and enjoyment.

    Breathing with movement

Posted by Anne on 25th May 2015

I recently purchased the Tai Chi for Arthritis DVD's. I have a weekly lesson locally and thought in purchasing the DVD's would assist in perfecting each move. I love the fact that Dr. Paul Lam indicates quite oft to perfect each move first and that there is "no hurry" It is inspiring and ever so gentle, however with the breathing and a continuous movement a gentle, yet, strengthening workout. Dr. Paul Lam simplifies each move and this is so important for those who find difficulty in moving with stiff joints. Love the DVD's. Thank you.

I attend Tai Chi classes once a week and this DVD has helped me greatly, as you only have a limited amount of time to participate in these lessons.

    Best thing I did.

Being and older Australian with some Arthritis being introduced to Dr. Paul Lam and his DVD has made a difference to my movement. I go to classes once a week, but find the DVD useful to practice but also to learn in detail and understand the movements. It is easy to use at home. I wish I had known earlier. Thanks Dr. Lam.

    Fantastic resource

I try to get to my regular class once a week, but often can't make it. The DVD is always there to support me. It's clear, concise and meditative. Like my regular class, I get so involved with the DVD, time just flies by.
