I am enjoying learning the 24 forms. It's a very enjoyable set of movements to do and Dr Lam's instructions and explanations are very clear and easy to follow.

I have had this DVD for over a year now. I bought it because I wanted to learn something that wasn't being taught in my regular classes. So why not go for the world's most popular tai chi set - the 24 Forms?
The DVD provides a methodical approach to undertaking tai chi from a novice perspective. Dr Lam covers safety, warm ups/cool downs, Tai Chi for Beginners (foundational moves) and, of course, the 24 Forms.
Moves are clearly explained, and demonstrated from different angles, and the viewer can cycle forwards and backwards if revision is necessary. The whole thing moves forward at a gentle place, ensuring that each new technique is bedded down before moving on.
Everybody should, from time to time, revisit the content of this DVD, to ensure that good habits are being maintained.

I have only just begun my Tai Chi journey and found this DVD invaluable. Dr Lam is an excellent teacher. He is thorough and comprehensive in his approach, giving detailed explanations and lots of repetition to help decode the movements. He is also supportive and reassuring for the novice. I will certainly purchase more of his DVD’s in the future.

I first purchased Tai Chi for Beginners 2 years ago. I do it 3 times a week. I am only just up to Lesson 6 but I am making sure I do it properly. I had a 6 month break in between.
I go over the same lesson until I think I have mastered it. I cannot help but to notice each time I listen to the same lesson I learn something new.
The only problem was that Dr Lam's voice was too low and the voice saying what is happening next was far too loud. This caused a problem as I had to stop doing the lesson to change the volume. I bought headphones and now it is much better.
My health has improved tremendously. I am 72 and when I first started I could not get down on the floor and had extreme difficulty getting up. I now can get onto the floor and get up quite easily. My back has improved as well.
I also use the breathing technique from the lessons to help get to sleep. I now sleep very well.
I look very much forward to doing the 24 forms in which the beginner lessons are included.
I would have prefered to receive a zip file instead of a disc with the new lessons I bought.
I have particularly been concentrating on doing tai chi 3 times a week since corona virus. It as helped a lot and kept me well mentally well. I have also learned to meditate.
I also do other forms of exercising but I like Tai Chi the most.
Cheers
Louise

I am finding the exercises & the Tai Chi Walk very enjoyable and relaxing.
The movements also help my concentration,
& at the same time challenge my coordination and balance.

some years ago I attended tai chi classes. The benefit was so good I kept going for several years and have had a number of teachers and video tapes .having spent most of that time doing the the B24 I think I am well placed to judge Dr.Paul's teaching style. This DVD is so good in EVERY respect,5 stars are about half as many as are worthy.
Thank you Dr.Lam for this wonderful product.

This is so clearly set up, with easy to follow steps which are repeated for easier learning (and no rewinding!) and Paul gives oral instruction as he goes along - double teaching! It's great, thank you. Some of my students use it to supplement their class work.

Having looked locally in my area I was unable to find an instructor. Following the DVD was like being in a class but right in my lounge room. It was obvious to see why Dr Lam is so well respected.
