    Tai Chi for Beginners

Posted by KaZ Blake-Owen on 22nd May 2017

Having completed Dr Lam's Course on Tai Chi for Diabetes a month ago and totally loving teaching this form to my new Students, I now want to expand on my knowledge of Tai Chi for my own personal benefit into the future. I decided to buy Tai Chi for Beginners to get a more complete picture of the art and have found that the DVD is easy to follow and very professionally put together as I have come to expect from Dr Lam. I thank you for creating a Tai Chi series which is accessible by all and I hope to be promoting Tai Chi under the Tai Chi for Health banner for many years to come. Strength and Balance

Posted by Doug and Nancy Tear on 19th Apr 2017

My husband and I belong to a walking group, we are all getting older and a few of the ladies have had a fall. We researched Tai Chi and believe it will assist with our balance and posture. We practice the "6 Easy Steps" each day and have noticed an improvement in our balance already. Our aim is to increase our knowledge and confidence and then introduce the program to our fellow walkers.

    Energizing

I now have the time to devote to learning Tai Chi and have been attending a local class for a little while. I bought the DVD for Tai Chi for Beginners to help me to learn the basic moves and principles at home as well. I am very pleased and excited that I can easily follow Dr Lam and I am already feeling the benefits. I hope to purchase other lessons as I progress and use them to improve each day.

    Tai Chi for Beginners

Posted by Liz Horsfall on 29th Nov 2016

So far i am enjoying the DVD. I have Parkinsons Disease and am finding the DVD easy to follow but am taking it slow, ie I do not move on until I have mastered each exercise. Once i have learnt one exercise then i move on. I can't do all the exercise as my balance in some exercises needs improvement and hopefully this will happen as i go along. To date i am not doing it daily (only because my lifestyle is very busy) so i know i need to make an effort to do the Tai Chi daily. But, so far i am finding the Tai Chi for beginners easy to follow. I have not yet done the Tai Chi for Arthritis so cannot comment on that.

    so easy to follow

Posted by Alan on 28th Aug 2016

I have always wanted to do Tai Chi but I am so uncoordinated. Tai Chi for beginners is perfect, I can do it at my own pace and learn the forms without making a fool of myself.

    A compete well being

Posted by Unknown on 21st Aug 2016

We have always wanted to do Tai chi, but have been unable to find a teacher with a deep understanding of Tai chi philosophy. Dr Lam teaches the fundamental of Tai chi movements as well as the total well being. After each lesson we feel we have achieved in looking after our body and our mind. The DVD's lessons are very well set out, with a clear and precise method of teaching by Dr Lam. Thank you Dr Lam and your team.
