  1. Engaging for Dementia 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jul 2022

Facilitated with staff to the front of the group leading the movements.
Those with lowered sight are seated close to facilitator.
Our residents attend this activity with confidence of success.
I have observed the steady flow of movement to engage people living with dementia and hold their attention.
Outcomes of group participation, connection to community, increased focus, calming environment; not to mention the physical benefits.

  2. Excellent 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Jun 2021

This is the second time I've purchased this dvd.
Used in the aged care sector (with approval from our physio first) it's excellent exercise which also provides confidence, accomplishment, social support and mindfulness for our community. It is also culturally diverse and a physical activity. It ticks so many boxes for our programme plan thank you.

  3. seated tai chi for arthritis 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Nov 2019

This is an excellent exercise for people, like myself, with arthritis.
I had the - Tai Chi for arthritis DVD - for several years. Earlier this year, I had to have my right leg amputated. I do not have a prosthetic yet so am in a wheelchair. I looked on your site and found this one.
I get the same great exercise, even though I have to do it seated for now. It really helps my arthritis pain!
    Thank you, Dr Lam!

  4. Enjoyable exercise 5 Star Review

A gentle exercise particularly in the warm ups, that allows participants to take part within their comfort zone. Clear and precise activities that are enjoyed as something different by my group.

  5. The ideal exercise for Parkinson Disease patients 5 Star Review

My GP has recommended Tai Chi for my P.D. condition. And I found it very helpful.

  6. Our residents love this DVD 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jun 2014

I work as a Diversional Therapist in an aged care facility. After purchasing this DVD, our residents look forward to every session and are improving each week. Some residents have joined in with Tai Chi who have declined invitations to any other type of gentle exercise group we have offered.

Our residents are very frail aged - some are in their nineties - so the gentle pace and seated format are very suitable for them.

Thank you for this wonderful product!

  10. Seated TCA helps elderly and disabled. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Sep 2012

I teach TCA under the Dr Lam method.

Until I purchased the seated TCA DVD I was encouraging several elderly and moderatley disabled people in my classes to try the form in a sitting position. The purchase of this DVD has given me the confidence to continue with this teaching method.

I will loan the DVD to these students to practice at home and I am sure this will encourage them to press on to find the benefits of this wonderful muscle strenthening form.
