Tai Chi Yang Style 40 Forms

Tai Chi originated in ancient China and is based on nature and harmony. The flowing movements contain much inner strength for health and healing.

There are many styles and forms of tai chi all with different features. Yang is the most popular style characterised by gentle, graceful and expansive movements.

This 40 Forms set is more compact than the traditonal Yang 108 Forms yet contains all the features, techniques and internal energy of the style.

Dr Lam started his tai chi journey with classical Yang style 108 Forms more than 30 years ago; nowadays he practises Yang style with this set because it is very well composed. You can learn all the techniques in less time.

“Tai Chi for Arthritis Part II - Six Lessons”

I have always felt a little disadvantaged being 120kms away form the nearest Tai Chi Master trainer (who is a fantastic teacher)...that is until now...he is in my DVD player! I have felt as if Dr Lam is giving me a private lesson and I feel reassured that I am getting it right. Thank you.

Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 11

I am only a beginner but we all have to start somewhere so I have thoroughly enjoyed the DVD ‘Tai Chi for Arthritis’ by Dr Paul Lam, but there are times when I want more. I was so glad to see that a further DVD is now available ‘Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 11’. This DVD is wonderful, Dr Paul Lam is at his absolute best, he demonstrates some new and different warm ups and reiterates the previous forms, then he adds the 9 new movements to stretch yourself that bit further. The set is somewhat different initially, the forms are the same but they are presented in a different scenario. I loved doing the forms this new way, ‘old forms new ways’. It is nice to see that there is still room for initiative and it certainly kept my mind ticking over and my body happy. I also loved the new moves, extra forms to push myself, very stimulating. Dr Paul Lam demonstrates the postures precisely and deliberately, so you can see the moves and practice with him before he further incorporates the new movements into the complete session. This DVD it is like inviting Dr Paul Lam, as the Master of your own personal Tai Chi class into your lounge room. Pop the DVD in, go through the various chapters, do the warm ups and then have Dr Lam conduct his class with you, be ready to follow him and the new moves and new challenges. Perfect!!! For those of you who already own the Tai Chi for Arthritis DVD, you can just purchase this version (2 hours) Tai Chi for Arthritis Part II - to complete your first DVD Tai Chi for Arthritis, or if you a new to Tai Chi for Arthritis you can purchase the complete set Tai Chi for Arthritis-12 Lessons with Dr Paul Lam - 2 Disc Set .. I highly recommend this DVD for those seeking that little extra challenge in their Tai Chi for Arthritis, in fact I recommend it even if you don’t have arthritis; it is a great Tai Chi DVD for everyone wishing to learn Tai Chi.
