Tai Chi in Sydney

HI LIna,

most posters here are in the U.S.

I live in Sydney and also have an apartment in Germany. My principal living is still a medical doctor but I try to reduce it and teach more Tai Chi for health and martial arts.

At the moment I'm busy and need to find as much time as possible to practice. I have a private lesson with GM Chenxiaowang a few times a year now, study regularly with his son YIngjun in private and small group lessons. In Germany I study with Master Jan Silberstorff in Hamburg. He is also a recognized disciple of the family.

My objectives are to teach and practice the totality of martial arts and health.

Hi, Soraya,

Nice to have your reply. I'm glad to know you are from Germany.
I accompanied my father, Master He Lin Lin, to go to Germany to
teach Taichi several times. I still have many friends in Germany.
I like Germany so much, I'm sure I will come one day again.

I've been to Hamburg twice, a beautiful city. I'm new to Sydney.
I hope to know more friends there.

Cheers!
Lina

Hi, Soraya,

I visited your web site, very nice!
I practise 24Form, 42Form, 32Sword, 42Sword, 85Yang-long Form,
Taichi YangShengZhang, and PushHands, etc. I like Chen style also,
maybe one day I will learn the chen style.

Can I ask where you live now? Are you in Germany or Sydney?
Hope we can meet one day.

Cheers!

Sydney mainly

I live in Sydney mainly. So will come back middle November. I don't have enough friends to push hands with and you seem to be very good. My teacher Chen YIngjun is very good and I normally land in the swimming pool. He is caring, so doesn't throw me on the tiles(ouch)

I used to teach 24, 42 and 42 sword for a long time as well as Dr. Lam's wonderful program. Until one day I had to sacrifice everything in favour of my commitment to Chenjiagou treasures. This is a real treasure because it contains many forms and a deep knowledge of the internal path. Also teaching skills is in fact part of the internal path of Tai chi, not many people know this

Since your father is a Tai Chi master, you have a good source. But one never stops learning and you may want to meet my teacher YIngjun, Grandmaster Chen's son.

That's good, you also live in Sydney!
I will have holidays back to China with my partner at the end of July until
the end of September. I hope to see you when you come back.

Yes, you are right that I should keep learning. It was a pity my father
passed away in 2004, a great loss for me. I like to learn from
other teachers either. It would be great if I could learn from Chen YIngjun.
I really hope to meet you and your teacher.

I practised Taichi for several years, but there is still a long way for me to go.
I will keep learning and practising, and I also like to share this healthy
excercise with other people.

I can only do a little bit of Push-hands. One day I would like to practise
with you. It's always nice to exchange different ideas on Taichi, isn't it?

Best Wishes!
Lina

Hi Dorsal, I should have said I have made many friends here! My excuse (if one is needed), I have a chest and an ear infection and am on a course of antibiotics. Because of the cough I am keeping some odd hours so as not to keep others awake.

Hi, Everyone,

Thank you all for your reply! Sorry I was busy in arranging a trip to China
and also moving a lot of things, sorry for my delayed reply.

It's really nice to meet you here, all of you, from different places. I hope we can share the goodness of Taichi and enjoy a more happier life. Hope one day
we can practise together.

Hi, Soraya,
oh, you will go to Hamburg. Great! I'm missing Germany and the
friends there so much. I hope to meet them again. I hope you have
a wonderful time in Germany!

Cheers!

hi

Hi Lina,

Moin or Gday of Northern German dialect

I am on the North Sea Island Norderney at present. Quite rough weather, too windy to practise. I have activated your account on my forum. So now you can post there too. The system here is unstable as I use my cell phone to the internet. Some of the posters here post to my forum too since it has a slightly different character than this one

Dorsal and Caroline, you're invited too. Greetings from Norderney, after this Ill train 4 weeks tai chi in Hamburg. the island is surrounded by sand dunes and around 20 km beach but very stormy.

Sorry i didnt post too much to my and this forum.
