of interest (hopefully)
just saw an interesting modern dance troup on tv; "cloud gate dance theater of taiwan" performing a very slow choreographed dance with what appeared to be some elements of chen style push hands and dalu to cello music; anyone see this? amazing......

never been but i might go there and hong kong sometime; (hong kong first); just enjoyed what was coming off my television screen at home in the U.S. The dancers are graceful innovative and i applaud them for taking the medium of taichi into a new frontier

Although dancing and tai chi in most cases are two entirely different things, it is interesting to watch the moves and some times even find similarities...

it certainly is.....i can think of many instances where malayan/ indonesian dances seem woven into the very fabric of taichi; the stepping in the malayan dances smacks strongly of bagua
