I am taking a community college taiji class and I use this video as a supplement to the class.

In the class we simply follow the teacher so I find that the detail of Dr. Lam's instuctions very helpful in understanding many specifics such as the specific direction to point the sword, whether palm is turned up or down, and the movements of the feet, etc. Also the class is only 1x a week so the video helps review in between classes. It also doubles as a great workout video!

When are you going to offer the DVD?

Hi Paul,

Yes, please put 42 sword forms up on your conversion list.

I love this video! Your dynamic energy and teaching skills shine brightly. I appreciate your step by step teaching methods and front on/back on views plus much detailed explanation. Watching your demo near the beginning of the video is a refreshing qi break.

I 'met' you through the 42 sword forms video. My teacher recommended this form for me, and how could I get a good teaching tape in English? He had given me a tape from China, but the teacher always faced me, and the instructions were in Chinese.

I recalled you had a video out of 42 sword form, and ordered it immediately. Then, I wanted to certify in TCA and met you in a workshop! I credit my teacher for putting us 'in touch.'

Keep up great work.

Your feedback helps to introduce our titles to new viewers, and improve our production and service. It is greatly appreciated.

My video start to wear out and I really think this should be priority no. 1 in the list.

Something extraordinary unique about this video is your performance right in the beginning. We had the chance to admire your energy, poise and the whole form practiced in a beautiful waterfront area. Apart from everything we could gain an impression of the degree of difficulty of the form and what to expect before utilizing the tape.

The next reason as to why this stands off other tapes is: Every single movement is demonstrated in the beginning of the instruction. Then detailed explanations while the assistant was holding the posture. Another extra training for us while at the same time listening to in-depth sword theory!!!!!!! This is followed by front-on and back-on demonstration by the assistant, then front-on and back-on by yourself.

But..........this is not all........The most outstanding feature of this tape since ever is: Inbetween each posture you demonstrated the most significant TRANSITION, i.e. flowing from the previous posture into the new one.

My form has been refined by Master Andy Susanto from Germany and I promptly won 2 gold medals.

Dahlis, please let me know how you like it; I have just ordered it myself. I like the 32-sword a lot and have been wanting to expand.

Hi Drlip,

The 42 Sword is a beautiful expansion from 32 Sword. You will love working with the user friendly DVD. I 'met" Dr. Lam through this video (then on VHS) as my teacher had recommended 42 sword and how was I to learn? His instructional video was only in Chinese and the person only faced me and no back on view. I need a back on view to aid learning.

Have fun with sword!

HAPPY TAI CHI NEW YEAR!

It arrived very quickly and I will start tonight. I like 32-sword a lot so thanks for the encouragement, and for not taking me to task for the awful pun.

42 Sword just as sharp and to-the-point as the others! The pun is awful but the DVD is Paul's usual triumph. Back-on views, multiple opportunities to follow, and close-ups of potentially tricky hand transitions all make this a joy to use. My aging brain and body are not progressing as rapidly as I once might have, so I need this kind of help and am grateful for it. Thanks again, Paul.
