Hi Paul,

I just wanted to drop you an email to say how much my instructors and I enjoyed your workshop in Perth recently. I was particularly pleased that your teaching methods were so relaxed . I think it makes for a much more productive learning environment. We are sincerely hoping that the success of the week end will encourage you to come to WA more often.

We gained very valuable skills and are planning to introduce Tai Chi For Arthritis into our program from next term.

As I mentioned at the workshop some of us will definately be coming to Sydney to do further workshops with you , so we look forward to seeing you again then.

Thank you again for such a wonderful experience, it was an absolute pleasure meeting someone who is on the same "Tai Chi wavelength" as us.

Very warm regards

Bev

The past weekend (May 29th&30th) I had the privilege to attend the TCA workshop by Dr. Paul Lam and Ellen Reitsma in The Netherlands. I have studied Taijiquan (Yang Style) and QiGong now for two and a half years and enjoy it very much. I also assist my teacher in his classes. This helps me even more to understand the form and the Taijiquan principles.

As someone that has artrosis in his left ankle I enjoyed the training in TCA and see it as something that will enrich my quality of life. The standard Yang style training can sometimes put too much strain on my foot and I hope that using TCA will strengthen this joint so that my Yang style training wil become better.

I was impressed with the progressive step learning method. This is something that will make my teaching much more effective. In my next classes I will definitely try this and see if it helps the students to understand the form better.

At the end of the workshop Dr. Paul Lam told us about the taijiquan principles Song and Jing. I read about them but never really understood what was meant by them. But after hearing about it in the workshop and then specifically train the TCA form with these in mind was very helpfull in understanding these principles. It immediately helped in improving my own training. It felt good!

I look forward to the next workshop, whenever that may be. My apologoies for this long post but I needed to let you guys know how I feel about taijiquan in general and TCA in particular.

Thank you all.
