A good quality video with a good base to start Thai-Chi with.
Dr Lang explains it real well, and with the front and back views during movement, you learn it as best you can from a video.
I'm really happy I bought the series, and I hope other series will be put in a download lesson by lesson like this one.
Cause getting the DvD's in Europe is a real pain, and this solution is perfect.

I have found Dr. Paul Lam's instructions are easy to follow. I believe, Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Beginners is a great start for me in the word of Tai Chi.

Dr Lam's voice is soothing and relaxing and it fits the whole philosophy of Tai Chi. The programmes enable me to progress at a pace that suits me and gives the chance to really learn the
movements whereas at a class I do not have time to really internalise the movements.
I find that having te programmes constantly available enables me to go over each movement regularly. I find it is helping my concentration and helping me to relax. Great stuff.

I have purchased and worked my way through Beginner Lessons 1-4. I cannot praise them highly enough. The instructions, demonstrations and general teaching is clear, precise, easy to follow and enjoyable. i am so pleased I took the step to purchase this program and look forward to the rest of the lessons.

I' m an italian woman of 66 and this "taichi for beginners" enables me to pratice at home every time I feel like to do it. I attend a Tai chi school too only once a week so the exercise with Dr. Lam's lessons is very helpful . Thank to Dr. Lam my back is growing better and better!!!

For whatever reason I suddenly felt overtaken by anxiety. I have been told that bad circulation can cause unnecessary anxiety. I never believed that before. It is not often that I am overcome by anxiety but if I do, it can affect me the whole day for reasons I cannot explain. One morning I got up feeling really overcome by anxiety again and tightness on my chest and I googled on Tai Chi and found Dr Lam's free video lesson 1. I gave it a try and run fhrough it straight away and over a feel times. After about half an hour, I felt I was gradually overcoming my anxiety and felt better. Hence, I decided to download all 8 lessons in a go. I have been learning it through these videos and found the instructions easy to follow. I am still following the lessons and repeating it over and over again. I really like the downloads as I can learn it anytime and wherever I go with my computer.

This is a really great series, if you are beginner like me. Easy to understand and follow, Dr Lam has a very calm relaxed manner and a wealth of experience that he imparts through the lessons. With life being so busy, it's great to have this series at home, ready to go whenever I am. Thank you Dr Lam!

Explained in a clear and pleasant way. So satisfied that I ordered first, lessons 2-4 and later, lessons 5-8. And more important: I enjoy it everytime.

I have only done up to lesson four so far but all the lessons are easy to follow and make it easy to learn Tai Chi.
