Instructor Profile:	Ileina’s tai chi involvement has become a wonderful addition to her life- purpose goal of being of service to others. Her personal vision is to share Dr. Lam’s programs to facilitate the creation of active, self sustaining Tai Chi for Health communities. Ileina has been able to utilize her educational background in Developmental Psychology as a Corporate Training Coordinator for a major automaker. She spent 27 years designing and implementing flight crew training programs and integrating those into “customer first” service behaviors. Currently, Ileina splits her time between Hawaii, with her family of origin, and Atlanta, where her daughter is a physical therapist and Clinic Director. She works closely with the Arthritis Foundation offices in both locations. In Atlanta, she provides instruction at a physical therapy clinic, supports local instructors, enjoyed assisting a master trainer in a TCA certification workshop and was given a “shout out” in the ATL-AF newsletter. In Hawaii, she instructs for the Fall Prevention Program, volunteers for the Military Readiness Program, is coordinating a Tai Chi for Diabetes Workshop and has created an enthusiastic, self-supportive tai chi community. Certifications include, Tai Chi Chih (Yang), AFAA Personal Trainer, Tai Chi for Arthritis 1&2, 73 Forms, InDepth 73 part 1, Dr. Lam’s workshops in Tai Chi for Backpain. Kidz, and InDepth TCA.
